The use of this Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) web site (the “Web Site”) is governed by the terms and conditions set forth below. By using this Web Site you agree to such terms and conditions, as they may be modified by the IDB from time-to-time and posted on this Web Site.

These terms and conditions will be governed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, United States of America, except for the conflict of laws provisions of that jurisdiction. Any legal action over the contents of the Web Site shall be submitted to and finally resolved by arbitration conducted in the English language in Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America, under the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association, provided that IDB reserves the right to apply for temporary, preliminary and final injunctive relief to enforce any of the provisions of these terms and conditions relating to the use of its copyrights, trademarks, other intellectual property rights and data security. All decisions of a single arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the IDB and you and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. The IDB and you otherwise agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America for the resolution of any disputes not subject to arbitration and for the enforcement of any award resulting from any such arbitration. 

No waiver by the IDB of any provision of these terms and conditions shall be binding except as set forth in writing signed by its duly authorized representative. 

Nothing in the Web Site shall constitute or be considered to be a limitation upon or a waiver of the privileges and immunities of the IDB, which are specifically reserved. 

DRESS CODE​

Cartagena has a tropical, warm and humid climate, with average temperatures between 28°C and 32°C.​

The dress code for the Summit is business casual (no tie). We suggest the use of fresh and light fabrics.
